Ashok Galla, the grandson of the legendary Telugu actor/ film creator of 90s Krishna and nephew of megastar Mahesh Babu is all set to make his debut with a Telugu romantic comedy-drama “Hero”.
His mother and Mahesh Babu’s sister is a Telugu film producer. His father Galla Jayadev, popularly known as Jai Galla, is a very successful Industrialist and politician of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
This is said to be one of the biggest Starkid debuts of South Indian Industry.
HERO STAR CAST & MAKERS
The male lead role will be played by Asok Dalla and Nidhhi Agerwal will play opposite him as the female lead in the film, who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu Films.

She made her acting debut with Sabbir Khan’s 2017 action dance film “Munna Michael” where she played the female lead role opposite Tiger Shroff.
The film also stars Jagapath Babu, Naresh, Vennela Kishor, Brahmaji, Satya, and others in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Sriram Adittya T. and it is his fourth project as a director.
The cinematography is jointly done by Sameer Reddy and Richard Prasad, while music is composed by Ghibran. The editing work in the film is completed by Prawin Pudi.
The film is produced by male lead Ashok Galla’s mother Padmavathi Galla under the family’s own production house Amara Raja Media & Entertainment.

HERO RELEASE DATE
Earlier, the makers of the movie announced that it will release on Republic Day (January 26, 2022) on the big screen, but for an unknown reason, the date got canceled.
On January 5, 2022, the actor in male lead Ashok Galla took to Twitter and shared the motion poster of the film.
The actor tweeted “10 Days to Go! To celebrate this Sankranthi with our Most Entertaining #HERO Releasing in Theatres on Jan 15th Worldwide #HEROFromJAN15th ”.
On January 6, during the film’s Release Date Press Meet, the makers of the film appealed to everyone to watch the movie.

Producer of the film Padmavathi Galla also said “Our Movie will entertain Mass Audience, Youth, Families & Everyone!” that it will entertain Mass Audience
It will be interesting to see whether this will be a successful Starkid debut or not, as expectations will surely be high from this big banner film.
